I am from little town in East TN called Church Hill. Many moons ago I loved to ride, I got myself a pretty blue Schwinn Le Tour for a high school graduation present to myself. Seems like another lifetime, so my car has been tore up for months, my brother getting tired of driving me around, and I don't live but 3 miles from work traveling straight up a heavily traveled divided highway. Flashes of my old life comes back to me when road that highway everyday on my bike. So now the older, much heavier me is starting to get the urge to ride. So my bike has been in the basement, I put a bigger seat on it years ago, but tires dry rot. I don't have a helmet, or lights I will be riding home in the dark. I welcome any hints, for getting road ready for someone with not much money, that anybody would like to share.
