Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

No sunblock = dry leathery skin. I see a lot of cyclists who look good from a distance, not so good up close.
Put on yer sunblock!

(I believe photo aging still occurs, but is slowed down with good wide spectrum sunblock)

You should have seen some of the ski bums and lifties! I figured with me being from the sub-tropics, I wouldn't need any protection.

13,000 ft = much higher UV intensity.
What ski resort is at 13,000 ft? Were you in Colorado?

Spent some time hiking for goods up top at Loveland (13000) and Crested Butte(12000).
It was awesome, especially Crested Butte.

Sorry for the disturbing imagery, you know I could have found much worse.
I'm just trying to save the young people. Believe it or not, the world doesn't end when you reach 30! Take care of yourselves! Ride your bike, use sunscreen religiously, and you'll stay hot even into your 40s and beyond! :)
And ladies, please don't tell me George Hamilton is still hot. Old leatherface is not hot!
