i want this fork for my rockhopper fsr. im not sure which one to buy tho......comp/sport/original. can somebody tell me where these forks are the cheapest? thanks.

i think the comp is the only one that comes with the V brake tabs but i am not too sure. The Black's has an option to switch from 80mm/100mm to 100mm/120mm easily so thats a cool option.

Not all Black models have the option of adjustable travel (at least not the originals, I don't have the 04 stuff yet and don't recall off-hand which 03 models did). www.answerproducts.com is a good place to start, then navigate to the manitou section of the site for the info on the forks. If you will not be installing the fork yourself, I would recommend getting it from an LBS-any cost savings you have going mail-order will likely be small, plus they'll help you set it up for your riding style/weight, etc. If you decide to buy mail-order, be aware that many forks sold via mail-order are OEM forks and as such carry no warranty whatsoever. This will be clearly indicated on the steerer tube of the fork.
