I have been looking at road bikes but after reading some of the threads on this forum, I want to try a bent before I buy anything. My question is does anyone know any good bike shops in the Ohio area that I could test drive a bent before I make my decision? Thanks!

Where in Ohio are you? Besides shops most recumbent riders that I know would let you test ride their bike providing you are about the same size. From the RANS site this might help:

At least from the website Bicycle one seems to have the best selection.

The Ohio area is a pretty big area. If you are northeast or east central, you might try The Bicycle Shop in Hartville.

With spring approaching, you may be able to find a recumbent rally somewhere near by where you can try dozens of bents in one place.

Try GT Wheels in Findlay or Cycle Werks in Bowling Green. If you travel to Columbus Bicycle One probably has the best selection in Ohio.

Go to the Sun bicycle web site (SUNBICYCLES.COM) and select 'ABOUT' and then 'DEALERS'. Choose Ohio and EZ-Recumbents and that will give you some shops in your area. Last summer I stopped at J&D in Wapakenta (614-738-4492) and they had the EZ-SPORT on the floor and offered me a test ride as soon as I walked up to it. They had a good price on it too (at that time). I ended up buying mine at BICYCLEONE in Gahana (NW Columbus) since they are much closer to me.

What part of NW Ohio are you located?
