well thats good to hear. i didnt want to spend a lot cause my other hobby takes a bit more money to do and is my #1 over anything right now. but didnt want somethin im gonan break and spend double what i piad for it in replacement parts. so this seemed like a solid biek with decent components for what im gonna do with it. im gonna get it today after work, or tomorrow mornign. i cant wait, i wanna ride the snowy trails now

Oh, how witty. Questioning my gender with "Ms.". I also like the Ad Hominem (which is also a fallacy) saying I don't pay for my own gear. All I said was the chain was slack.

In an ass hole-ish way.

Welcome to Bike Forums, Dom!! Nice bikes you got there, I especially like the SS. :)

I dig the SS. My cousin had one in silver that he wouldn't let me drive until he got it just right. He got it just right and it was stolen out of his driveway the night before I was to drive it. My buddy's wife had one in Brown with the orange stripes. That SS was stolen and recovered three times before they got rid of it. Never got to drive that one, either. So what I guess I'm saying is, can I drive your car?:D

just gonna be a street beater, puttin a small block together hope to have everything in and going by julyish. not set up for any class, but is on a small drag radial. 275/60/15, stock style suspension, full interior, comes in around 3800lbs with driver. i hope to run in the 10's on pump gas on spray, should run high 11's or so on nuts. nothin special, im just dyin to get it done. just need to get the motor and trans (gonna run a th400) in and run the lines and wires.

if i had just bought these last week, i woulda probably picked up a better bike. these things are bad

just finishing up this car for a stock suspension class, gonna be a small block on spray. the cap on teh class is 8.20 so he hopes to go a bit faster then back the car down a little to try to get some consistency out of it

Welcome to the new guy! Your days of having your bike "hypercriticized" and threads hijacked have officially begun.

Once you get past the over-analization & off topic banter...this is the best place on the net for bikes.

Dom87SS

it doesnt bother me much, it cant be as bad as some racing sites in on. they can go off topic in the first post and go on for 20 pages

Coukdnt agree more. Some of the folk here (66, gastro, Dminor, chelboed himself, born2bahick, junkyard, RICO and even Pete fagerlin when he was around. I forgot a few, but hey) really know their stuff, and if you ask properly, and dont be a dick, this place is great for helpful information. Just learn how to cypher that from the crap and you'll be fine

Well if you start a thread going "Hay guise i has 300 dollars whut kind of full suspansion race biek should i buy?" the answer will be starkly different than if you do a search, come up with some questions that haven't been covered yet, and then ask.

Also, calling people like Smashy a n00b doesnt help either.

well placed the order yesterday, bike will be here and assembled by thursday. while there my girlfriend bought an 08 Giant boulder se for her first non-walmart bike. i think we did pretty good. got a deal on the bike cause we bought 2 and some other stuff. now i cant wait to get it and ride.

bad part is im already lookin at forks, derailers, seats, chain stays, brakes, bars, and other upgrades for it, and i dont even have the bike yet. *sigh* i can see this getting expensive *shaking my head*
