Foo - Argh! Spring....

Sitting in the office. Have a bit of work to do, but I can see it's a gorgeous day outside. About 15C/59F and sunny. Not too much wind. I had a dream last night about riding my bike at ridiculous speeds. It's so much easier to work when it's cold, grey and miserable outside...

I'll trade your spring (blissful 15C temps) for my summer (37+C). Working outdoors in that is not such a pleasant experience. Nor is riding in it (gave up a 100-miler at half way at the weekend).

Thanks, Rowan, but I'd rather take some of Sixty Fiver's Canuckistanian winter than your summer (I'll take snow in lieu of a hug, 65er...). It will be getting stupidly hot here soon enough... last year my hottest ride was 42C. That's 42C without the humidity, of which there was a lot.

It's been downright balmy here in Canuckistan of late...the snow is melting, the skies are as blue can be and the riding has been wonderful.

Tomorrow will be the first day in many when we won't be enjoying temps that have been well above 0 C.

Huh. Well how about that... I suppose the snow dump was an eastern thing... maybe I can [edit: get] someone from Toronto to help.

I was musing to someone the other night that I could feel an inkling for a Canadian winter. I have fond memories of the autumn/winter there last year.

Uhh. I guess he doesn't want a hug, 65er. How can anyone turn down a free hug?


The other day I walked by the receiving door to the warehouse and took a peek outside. It was so beautiful out! Even with the sound and smells of the trucks, the sights of the trees blossoming in the distance was enough to make me want to hop on my bike and just ride. :)

ya spring, that uch closer to summer and hopefull this one is a real summer, unlike last year...wohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Argg, wife and I were going to bike shopping tomorrow, and actually take some out for quick spins to see if we liked them or not. Supposed to get upwards of 3" of snow. :( I really really want to get a new bike and start riding now, that way I'll be somewhat in shape when the really good weather hits.
