I started riding last summer, I'm good for 20-50mi's avg. 16mph (slow hill climbing so far). My April and May will be tough months for riding but I teach so the summers are great (esp. early mornings). I'm looking to do a century by the middle to end of the summer but I'm on the Clyde side (well, technically under) so I won't be breaking any speed records.

Spartan,

My brother, Jeff, is in Worcester and asks me to come up from New York to ride with him, which I'd love to do more but don't always have the time. The distances look right. He and I are hoping to do the two-day Pan-Mass challenge (www.pmc.org (http://www.pmc.org)) at the beginning of August if we find enough chances to train (and raise the $4,000 fundraising minimum). Anyway, he's not on BF so I'll tell him you're ready to team up and tackle some of those brutal Wis-tah hills.

I'd love to do the PMC someday myself, hopefully next year but man that fundraising minimum is brutal. I went out and bought my new ride today so I'll be ready soon.

Hey Spartan !

If your looking for someone to ride with a couple times a month give me a shout. I ride out around the Worcester area a few times a month, and would't mind hooking up for a ride or two. March and April I spend trying to get my legs back, so I spend alot of time cycling around the hills in Fitchburg. Just pm me when you want to ride and where you want to ride.

There is a group (mostly Bike Alley riders - but not all) that ride the Reservoir loop on Monday and Wednesday evenings. See the link below. They also do some MTB rides.

I'm not too far from Worcester, Every Tues in Sturbridge there is a small time trial, the owner of Southbridge Bicycles puts it on, it was just sold a few months ago, but the owner says hes still going to do it.
