hi yall doin names chuck and i am a neo maxi zoom newbi ha ha,i just had a heart attack three months ago half hereditary and half lifestyle choices cholesterol is a bi@ch any ways i had to make some lets say minor changes in my diet and exercise.I am no way morbidly obese but id hit the wendy's a few times a month or so,not a fast food junkie but not a health nut either.So here i am just 30 and getting into riding road riding that is i traded in my GF MTB for a 06 madone project one with fizik saddle and a couple carbon cages and ultegra comps,it ended up costing me 1100 alltogether with new shoes and pedals with trade in not a bad deal right?Went on first ride today fresh out of the stable for 20 miles i know it might not be anything to the vets but for a 209 lb 5'9 chubster it felt like something to me any ways i hope i can use the forum for many upcoming tricks and tips see ya chuck................

Hi Chuck! At least you know how to ride a bike, so you aren't quite a complete noob :) . That sure is an upgrade, though!

Glad to hear that you made it through the heart attack, and are obviously bent on keeping further heart attacks at bay...you might want to check out the Clydesdales/Athenas forum--the folks there are very good motivators, and a lot of them have gone through the same stuff you have.

ride two close to 25 miles i would say all in all and right between my legs way inside almost my nether regions ouch luckily it only lasts for a day after,i think its punishment for beeing a fat ***** ha ha oh well name of the game, i suppose i could find a sweet sheepskin springer seat that would be frickin awesome :):p

Actually, the more you ride, you will find out that the sheepskin is a bad idea! It puts too much pressure on the perineum. It will take a few weeks to get your rear hardened to a saddle, but bear with it!
