So - I am suppoosed to introduce myself. I am a 40yo 230lb roadie, aspiring cx'er, and occasional MTBer. I started looking through the mechanical posts trying to determine compatibility of rear derailleurs with my new compact cranks and desired cassette. After spending almost an entire day reading, laughing, and scratching my head. SO I'm hooked.
Am I crazy to do a cross race tomorrow in the mountains of Colorado? We only got about 8" of new snow today... A 230lb guy in spandex, trying to race cross, in the mud and snow... sounds pretty scary to me.
