I have seen the cosplayers at the Kyoto International Manga Museum (http://www.kyotomm.com/international/english/index.html). They have incredible costumes.

Are you sure that is an anime convention? Looks more like a sci fi convention. If it was a real anime convention the woman with the piercings would be wearing a pink wig, be 50 pounds heavier, and still be wearing the same size costume.

A lot of the anime people, I wish I knew who did their costume/makeup work. Costume-wise, I landed an excellent seamstress for my work, but I still can't do fantasy character makeup right at all. For example, if I tried to do a drow, I'd end up looking that I had the bad end of a coal mine rather than an elf.

I have thought of buying an airbrush set and experimenting with that, but money is limited until I'm out of college, so that project (like many others) gets put on the back burner.

My 14yo daughter is interested in this stuff and draws it a lot. I went to a couple of conventions with her. A lot of older chubby guys by themselves running around I tend to think these things draw pedophiles like moths to a flame. Check out the whole Japanese Gothic Lolita thing. Needless to say we don't go to these anymore.

The piercings a ****ing fantastic, as for your question "Whats not to like about this..." well for starters she has no ass! ;)

that's alright though...imagine the fun of unlacing her with your teeth ;)

It's like a christmas present, except it'll whoop your ass if you get too vigorous with removing the ribbon.

If she was hot she wouldn't need the embellishment.

Body piercings freak me out because of what happened to my cousin's belly ring-stud thing. Think...loose knit wool sweater, getting caught, ripping out...:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
