.....but i need some help and advice. I recently had my lovely orange stolen and need to replacement but don't want another orange. I've been looking at Giant and Specialized. The Giant XTC Alliance Zero and the Specialized Stumpjumper comp. What are peoples thoughts about these two bikes?

THose two are awesome XC bikes. So close in specs that there isn't anything to set one ahead of the other. Have you ridden them?

The Specialized looks to be spec'ed better, but either one looks great. Prices for each would help.

Both a great to ride and both are £1200.... such a had choice. Going to think long and hard about it I guess.

Or... you could just go to the lbs and try them

Like I said I have tried them both and found them both great. I was just after some more advice from someone who might know about both bikes, see if one of them has a little something over the other.

Its a no brainer. Get the stumpjumper comp.

Exactly why would it be a "no brainer"?

Why is that a no brainer? They both look like quality rides. What makes the Stumpjumper better?
