Hi, anyone here have ridden, own or reviewed the Colnago Carbonissimo Limited Edition can share the experience or reviews. What are the things to look out for when buying a second hand 3-4 years old carbon bike like this one here. Thanks
Used carbon frames could have developed cracks that the owner may not even notice. I'm sure its safe to buy a bike like that used.

Carbon can be a very good and very durable material to make a bicycle frame out of. That being said, it is only a good material to use if the person making the frame knows a great deal about using and working with carbon fiber. With the rash of carbon parts and pieces showing up on the bicycle market this year it is important to choose your manufacturers wisely. In my opinion Colnago makes some of the best carbon frames around, and they know what they are doing. Their carbon bits are manufactured by an independent firm in Italy that produces bike parts in addition to the Ferrari carbon fiber components that go in their cars. I will tell you that Colnago carbon fiber frames look on the inside as beautiful as they do on the outside. That is something that cannot be said for many manufacturers.

Better to test ride, buy bike, then tell wife!

Better yet, test ride, buy the bike, hide it in the garage, and NEVER tell the wife.

And when she does find out, point out to her calmly and logically, that it was either the bike or numerous visits to the strip club!!
