I had a problem with painting my bike. I did every thing I usauly do to paint my bike like sanding, primer, paint, and then clear coat and i did this the way i have always known to do it and the paint got a crackily look to it and i do not understand why this happened. does anybody have any suggestions to this problem? I would aprieciat it and know i got to buy all the paints again and sand it again and i do not want the repeted problem to occurr. Is there a way where i can still use the old paint? Let me know cause i need help.

Because you used two different types of paint.

"crackling" is difficult to diagnose,...pix??
but more than likely, you re-coated too soon, before the previous coat had a chance to "flash off" (the solvents evaporate), so when you shot the next coat, the solvents attacked the still soft previous layer.
good rule of thumb for a spraycan paint job is: wait a day between differing coats,...so shoot the primer, then wait a day, then sand the primer, then shoot the color coat, then wait a day, THEN shoot your clear, and I would wait a week, or even more before I assembled the bike and rode it.
with professional 2 part urethanes, you only have to wait about 30 minutes between paint types, and you can assemble and ride the following day.
spraycans are easy, but take forever to cure out (dry enough to use), and will never be as durable as a 2 part catylized paint job.

Ok, Thanks for the help i will be sure to remember that for now on. I was also wondering about dents. My friends have told me to completly sand down my forks and get rough sand paper to the bare metal and clean it for then put aopocksee however you spell it on and you can paint over that. How exactly does that work?

You can use bondo on the dents... and make sure it is warm and dry when you paint if it was cold the pant can ripple or crack like you described.
