Can anybody help, I am in the process of having both of my big toe joints fused together . So i will no longer be able to bend my big toes ever again. I can get my old road shoe,s on but as my feet will not any longer conform to the shape of the bottom of the shoe i can no longer use them. So i need a pair of shoe,s that are as flat as possible . Maybe MTB boots would do the job. any idea,s?

How about custom orthotics? I had some made for my cycling shoes and they're awesome. They give a lot of forefoot support and accomodate my foot problem.
