Outstanding video though! Almost looks like a nuclear detonation in slow motion! :)

Orbit would have been nice. Should have been behind a camera and getting paid for something like that video.

About the same amount of energy in a shuttle launch and a nuke. It really sorta is a slow motion H-bomb.

The shuttle carries about 2000 tons of fuel at launch. It's more energetic than TNT, so I guess it probably has about as much chemical stored energy as a 3-4 kiloton bomb...just a baby.
