Fears that you know will cripple any advancements that you have for the future, whether it be business or personal. How has this affected you? Why do you think you have these fears and what efforts have you taken to address the issue?
I've got a girlfriend right now, and she's starting to get to the age where she's thinking about getting kids, which is exciting...because we're going to have to break up. She and I worry about different things. The other day, I asked her, "What do you fear the most?" She said, "I fear you'll meet someone else, you'll leave me, and I'll be all alone." And she asked me, "What do you fear the most?" And I was like, "Bears!" A bear is an intimidating animal, although I found out that the hippo kills the most humans per year. I didn't know hippos ate humans; I just thought they ate those little white marbles. I thought that was the whole point of Hungry Hungry Hippos - that hippos were marblevores.
that someone in BF will ask me my fears. sheesh

Do tell, EH!! :D
Now that that's out of the way, my next biggest fear is myself. I shan't elaborate.
I don't like heights.
I have a private pilot's ticket, and I'm ok in an airplane, but in a building not so much. I'm not getting near the edge of (insert precipice here) for love or money.
I'm also not hip on dying or dying alone. But I can rationalize inevitability, so I'm ok with it.
Gee thanks. And btw....you suck.
you're my ex, aren't you?

I fear everything at least a little bit. On a day to day basis, I think there is nothing more fun than riding a motorcycle. I rode one for ten years, and loved just about every minute I was on a bike, but when I was off the bike I often thought about my impending doom. I haven't ridden in about three years and I don't know if I'll ever buy another motorcycle.
I found out that the hippo kills the most humans per year. I didn't know hippos ate humans; I just thought they ate those little white marbles. I thought that was the whole point of Hungry Hungry Hippos - that hippos were marblevores.
 WTF???!!! I was almost trampled by a hippo when I was on safari in Kenya. I had no idea they had a blood lust for humans. I thought they were herbivores, not marblevores or carnivores.
Hippos just don't like people is all.

My fear is the inability to forget things that affect me deeply. Although I can forgive, forgetting it is something that I need to accomplish. To me, every experience is a life lesson - the negative ones are what I am concerned about. My mindset is to never allow myself to get into a situation like that again. And sometimes that holds me back in terms of gaining new experiences in other realms of living.

Drunk guys coming into my house at 1:30 a.m. and passing out on my couch.
Oh, and Sarah Jessica Parker scares me too.
Foot with eyes {shudder**.
Is this strange?
I fear walking the street with my girlfriend and her accusing me of looking at other women. This seriously gets me tied up in knots. Its a HUUUUGGGEEE issue in our relationship. And no, I didn't look... Well maybe just a little bit. But thats okay isn't it??
To stop the accusations, mud slinging and world of hurt I wear sunglasses in public, unless I'm speaking directly to someone. I avoid going out sometimes...
Jeez I sound like a sad mouse person... But really, I'm confident in every other situation. I have almost every fear licked. Its just this one that still hurts me to the core... Maybe I need to get out of this relationship...

In only a few months time, due to a wreck in which I sustained some soft-tissue damage, seeing a guy on a crotch rocket right in front of me get creamed by some old ******* pulling right out in front of him, as well as a field trip to the morgue to see a 22 year old kid who broke his neck on a motorcycle, I'm now really goofy when I ride anything with two wheels and a motor in less than ideal conditions. The problem is I commute by scooter 5 days a week. I'm having a hard time riding in the rain, (I often just take my bicycle instead, it's an extra couple hours added to my commute, but I feel safer on a bicycle,) and with expecting people to pull out in front of me.

Either she is overly sensitive or you're going about it in a moronically obvious way. We all know you guys do it. You just have to make sure you're not being blatant and embarrassing about it.

Fear from rejection from the school I whole heartedly believe is THE school for me...for the second time. Steps taken to rectify include me treating classes like they are part of my full time job. It affects me because sometimes I think about it can't sleep!

This worries me a lot. "Apocalypse" is not hyperbolic.

She's overly sensitive... I harldy look at all.
A few nights ago I picked up my daughter from a youth club games night and my partner was furious with me. When I asked her if she was okay she let fly with all sorts of allegations like I flirt with other women, I'm a liar, I must know this other woman (I have no idea who the hell she's talking about) etc. Apparently I'd been 'constantly' sidling up and having a 'moment' with some woman right in her line of sight... I love this woman to bits but this sh*t is getting tiring...
The other day she got upset and jealous because I went to the house of my bike riding buddy and work colleague. She wanted to know whats going on with me and him!! Like I'm having a gay affair or something! Jeez. This is sounding really wierd as I type it but this is a true account of her reactions...
She wants to have kids and get married too!!

I fear walking the street with my girlfriend and her accusing me of looking at other women...
If they didn't want us to look at them, they never would've invented low-cut blouses.
I suffered from the same malady. I was walking through a parking lot shortly after I was divorced, and an attractive woman was walking toward me. I did exactly as I was trained and averted my gaze...then once I realized what I'd done, laughed myself silly. I made it a point from that day on to always stare at a nice set of boobies. They don't like it...they can tarp that load.
Ahem...my fears...
I denied it for many years, but I do suffer from claustrophobia. It's not something I deal with daily, but I have been in a few situations, such as diving into dark water in a lake, elbow-crawling through the buildup of a four-storey building in the dark and getting wedged, and being packed like a sardine at a concert that forced me to admit...I have an inordinate amount of fear regarding the ability to breathe. Having my lung collapse at one point did nothing but amplify that fear and make me finally admit it to myself.
For the most part it's a non-issue as I don't get it when flying, riding in a car, in line at the bank, dark movie theater, etc... I guess it's really a fear that only kicks in when I actually do stand a chance of drowning or suffocating...so that's not so bad.

Dolls. Clowns. Princes. Big Purple Bears (and Dinosaurs). Sounds like a line out of Waltz for Debby, but no, I'm really scared of those things. Especially porcelain dolls and the It clown. UGH.
I'm also really scared that now that I've found the love of my life, I'll lose him. I almost lost him once due to my own stupidity, but now that I've vowed never to do that again, I'm afraid that something else out of our control will take one of us away from each other. It's a really, really scary thought to lose someone you've been planning to spend the rest of your life with. :(
