Mountain Biking - Which Tire is This?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I am looking for a MTB tire that:
1. Has connected tread. (at least on center)
2. Is good quality. Kevlar bead.
3. Has low rolling resistance.
4. Is not a semi-click.
5. Has long tread life.
Every review I read on MTBreview.com seems to be oriented towards handling mud, rocks etc. I don't want that. I want a tire that is good on pavement as well as on loose gravel on the trail. BTW, my version of trail is a gravel road. It is flat and well groomed. VEry seldom do I do any more than climb a 6' grassy hill side other than that I am on gravel and asphalt.
It's going to be hard to find a tire that works well on pavement AND loose gravel. Good pavement tires have small lugs, and for gravel you'll need some big knobbies to dig down and find traction. I can't think of any light knobbies that roll well and still hook up good in loose gravel. The only thing remotely close I can think of is the Hutchinson Python.

None that I have heard of.
I've got all but the kevlar bead right here.
Specialized Crossroads (http://www.specialized.com/SBCEqProduct.jsp?spid=5539&JServSessionIdroot=g169y38r6f.j27002) I played with these for a while untill I committed to slicks on thwe bike in question. Good tire. IMHO: Wire beads for a novice can be overrated.
