Perhaps I should ride them all.

jsharr and Mark..

Does this look like the "I'd buy you a green bike, but not a real green bike, that's cruel" thread ?

No.

Away with you then... and don't come back until you have real green bikes.

I'll see about pics after I get home, but I have 2 green bikes.

1) 1986 Schwinn Voyageur (I believe it is listed as British Pine or something like that) with modern 105 components.

2) Not yet assembled (bought used) Windsor Touring that will be my commuter in dark green.

The second as a matter of fact ;)

Kit's and helmets can be seen here: http://roguesracing.com/. We actually get a lot of compliments on them but they don't do so well in the dirt :(

That is such a gorgeous bike... and I don't see any problem with the chain tension.

Hmm... could just be the angle, but for a fixie it looks a bit slack to my eyes.

It's a bit slacker than it's been in the past, but it's tighter than it looks. There's very little play in the cranks, and it's quieter this way.

<offtopic>Hey, X -- where did you get that mount for your flask? I've seen one before, but it was a custom job. Did you do that yourself?</offtopic>I bought it from Joseph Ahearne (http://www.ahearnecycles.com/) at the NAHBS (http://www.handmadebicycleshow.com/2008/) this year.
