Well we finished Sat with the ride around Corpus Christi, what a great experience. I logged 459.8 miles, but I rode with the soldiers the 108 mile day and only got 25 miles so some of the team were well over the 500 mile mark in 8 days. Our blog is not complete yet but there is a lot of it up there (see button in sig line) We are already talking about a repeat next year, but I am voting for more hotels, less camping. More because we could get some of the wounded warriors to ride than anything else. Not to mention about half way through day 2 (150 miles in) I was beat and thanks to my dad changing from riding to sag I dropped most of my weight off the bike to be able to continue. Learned a lot about what to pack, and how, now just got to get it all together for my next adventure.
