I live about an hour from the Lehigh Valley Velodrome and I would love to get into track racing... but I have no idea how to go about it..I see that they have some free courses...but they unfortunately conflict with my schedule.. anyone have any advice?
Don't know about Lehigh Velodrome, but the Frisco Velodrome offers a
Superdrome 101 course here's what they say about it:
Superdrome 101 - This class is designed to teach the basics of track riding... ...Students need to bring their cycling clothes, helmet, shoes, and pedals. Track bikes will be provided if riders do not have their own. Cost is $25.
Lehigh has a free program I believe (Air Products development cycling program).
check it out at
Lehigh programs (http://www.lvvelo.org/programs.htm)
