The local bike shop here has some new Bontrager tires that claim to be alomst bullet proof. I can't find any thing about these tires anywhere!
I needed a new set of tires to run during the winter, so I bit the bullet and bought a set of 700x23s for my road bike. They seem to be a little stiff in the ride, but also seem to have a fairly low rolling resistance. I have put about 75 miles on them this weekend and I am pleased so far.
My question? Has anyone else seen, or heard of these tires? They are not on Bontragers web site, and look nothing like any of the tires there. They have a hard black center and grey shoulders. I was told they have doubble kevlar belts also.
