Introductions - Greetings from the Bronx

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi Everyone,

I am new (brand new) to biking (actually a little intiminated by the biking community...you all are so wise):)

I am completing the Timberman 70.3 half iron in August (I swim, I run, I just don't bike very well), so I am looking forward to learning and hopefully becoming a somewhat competent cyclist in the coming months. I am in the process of buying my first bike, and have a thread up under road biking looking for some advice "Better Bike or Better Service", so if you have any thoughts, I would really appreciate it!

Take Care! And Thank you!

Don't be intimidated, most of us here are very nice! And if anyone gives you any trouble, tell them that East Hill has said for them to behave :D .

Welcome to BF!
