hey guys,

i've been riding a titan fs downhill bike for awhile, and man the thing was a beast to ride up hills and around my area (because of the suspension) so i kinda ditched biking for awhile... well sat. i went to a church sale and saw a Haro Vector - 2 parked in the corner with a rusted up chain on it... the tag on the top said 3 dollars!!!! 3 dollars!!! i've wanted a hardtail ever since i started riding FS... so i have to take the rear wheel to be trued, and then i'll be running! I heard this bike is farely cheap, what do you guys think? I've rode a Haro Zippo for 6 years or so now, and its been holding up (freestyle bike) i hope this does the same...

i'm looking to get some heavy duty bashing fun outta this bike but it has weinmann rims... what do you guys recommend for jumping and hard trails?

Hey Mike, the Vector is an entry level bike, but for $3 who the heck cares!!!!

It'll get you riding.

If you start jumping, you will probably destroy the wheels first. They're not designed to take harsh punishment. The fork is probably a Sun Tour or an RST, and is very low end, but again, who cares for $3.

Get out and ride!

For 3$ I ouldhave bought it. A good bike to really wreck...I have been considering buying a bike like that to practice grinds on so I don't destroy my bike. But in either case welcome to the forums, that is a sweet deal. :)...

4.5 cdn...still great :)
