Have Schwinn Tempo with some corrosion on aluminum crank.
What good method to remove and protect to like new finish.

Mothers Aluminum cleaner. Also known as mag wheel cleaner. You can find it at most auto parts stores. Simichrome polish works well but its more difficult to find and more costly. A high end LBS may have it.
