With many years of mountain biking and injuries along the way, I'm putting the Specialized away, and have bought a new Dehon D7, seven speed, on E Bay for $380, including shipping from Reno to my home here in southern California. Being retired, I'm considering taking the bike with me on a train trip from here to Baltimore to visit my son who is a surgeon at the University of Maryland Medical Center. This Dehon weighs 24.9 pounds---and I'm hoping that I can get a shoulder bag for it------This whole thing about tiny bikes is fun-----Ev

That'll be cool. How long of a train ride will it be?

I'll bet you'll get a lot of curious questions along the way, too.

There are many bags that can be pressed into carrying your bike about. I make my own or use duffle bags, Dahon's own bag, or even garbage bags in an emergency!

For more information on bags in general see:

Take a look at this bag:

Late last year Amazon was selling this bag, and I got one for my Dahon Speed D7. It is quite nice for the price.

The Dahon El Bolso bag arrived today, and it is really very nice. It has the Dahone Personal MObility printed on, and it has a thick padded shoulder pad----it is packed in a carry sack with backpack straps, and it has a red cover to protect the bike from view------Got it from L.L. Bean------L
