I'm moving to New Orleans in August for about 6 months and I'm in need of a couple part time jobs, or one full time job. Anyone recommend any bike shops in the city that would take on a mechanic for 6 months starting in August? Does anyone recommend any cool, local bike shops in general?

I apreciate the advice! I think I've heard about Bicycle Michaels from others. Haven't worked in any shops besides my own. i work full time as an engineer, and build bikes as a hobby. I restore older bikes as well. I'm also the go to guy for about a dozen or so friends in the area when they need a cheap fix up.
I'm moving down there for about 6 months and will need some part time work, so I'm exploring all my options. One of the reasons I'd like to get some work as a bike mechanic is that its the only other skill I have that could potentially pay a bit of cash besides the engineering ;)
