Don't know much about Ergomo, except I don't want one. But this seems like a good price, especially for a buy it now.

Considering it goes for about $1600 new, it does sound like a good deal.

Does anyone here have anything good to say about the Ergomo? Anyone use it? The reviews here don't sound too reassuring:

I wonder what kind of support Ergomo would give to a someone who bought a used unit.

They no longer offer any support the the U.S. from what I understand.

Gitabike doesn't offer support anymore, but I believe the new distributor does.

Found this thread:

There's a post in there that mentions a 2yr warranty. I think whoever buys the one on eBay is SOL if it breaks/malfunctions.

I almost pulled the trigger as this would be fine on my '04 Chorus cranks. Glad I researched 1st.

There are also going pretty cheap from Gita: http://www.gitabike.com/cgi-bin/shop/ergomo_loadhome.cgi?user_id=88237&file=ergomo.html

Getting rid of excess stock as they no longer distribute the Ergomo. There is, however, a new distributer so you're not without support in the U.S.

I'd stay away from ergomo, especially a used one. They were hit or miss when new.

I'm not sure if they have improved or if the new distributor is doing any good. The last I heard, GITA dropped them because ergomo wouldn't fix the units when they came back from customers for warranty

I have one. Works awesome. The new distributor even sent me a flush mount for free, and we had a conversation about warranty/service.

Here's the new ErgomoUSA: http://www.whyergomo.com/

FWIW, I called the Gita to see how much the closeouts were going for and was told $957 (w/ a 2 year warranty).

Ended up speaking w/ a guy named Nelson (I believe), he seemed pretty informative and helpful.

*edit -- have to admit that I'm tempted once again, but by a new unit.
