I was either considering these or weinmans, but I want to know how durable the threads are on the economy wheels-
anyone have them? or have had experience with them?
it looks like a good buy for someone starting out, but they could be horribl quality.
My friend has the economy wheelset. He has been riding them everyday for a month through rough streets and they are still going strong. He's probably around 180 lbs. I don't know how they hold up in the long run though.

Like any budget wheelset, spend the money to have them professionally tensioned and they will last longer and stay truer.
have had the vueltas for about a year. gotta say, i'm pretty pretty impressed they've held up this long. still true, hubs spin smoothly, and no problems. i figured if i'd beat up my wheels on our crap streets, then i'd get the cheapest set possible. i was expecting to replace the wheels a lot earlier, but they've been great.
