My wife and I will be in New Orleans for a few days next week. Staying at the Westin in the French Quarter I think. My guess is this isn't a great biking city but I thought I would check in with folks here. Any good riding in the city? Any place left to rent a bike?

lots of bikes around, must be somewhere to rent. good riding outside of downtown, around city park or even out near some of the old plantations. from the quarter to the french market area would good way to see the city and its historic architecture, also up along the river walk.
parts of the city are a national park andthe park service has an office just off the quarter where you should be able to get a lot of info. enjoy.

There is a nice bike path along the levee and way up town there is a nice park on Tchoupitoulas to ride in. Not sure about rentals. Hope that helps a little.
Be careful in the Quarter! Narrow streets and a lot of traffic.

Why not ask the folks in the Southeast subforum?
