Teach her to ride on the back of a tandem and act as your stoker. You'd set the precedence in the world of cycling and dog training.

I thought you had fun last year on the Solvang Double. You hated Hemet, but what was there NOT to hate (headwinds, terrible roads, cow **** in the air....etc.). It's the conditions of the ride and not the ride itself.

Of course, I understand that endurance isn't your strong suit, so 200 miles is too much for you.

I'd like to do it, but I don't think I can budget a weekend for a ride. Maybe I'll just take a tent on go camping, instead.

What's the date on this? Is it still the week after heartbreak? I'm not going to do the double, but I might come up and support you guys. Or just ride the middle 100, which is righteous.
