Southern California - New whip (sort of)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well the first part of my new whip at least. I plan to make a climber out of this. Since I'm so short, I get to use smaller and therefore lighter parts. When all is said and done I've estimated this to come in right around 15lbs :D I'll update the thread as I go.

Think so. It's never been built. Much lighter than my aluminum frame.

I don't like pink, and even I think that frame is sharp. What group?

Oh boy. It's going full Dura Ace except for the cranks which will be Ultegra SL because I want compact in a 165 which DA doesn't do. I'm going with budget minded Soul wheels and probably Ritchey WCS seatpost, stem, and bars. I guestimated the weight on Weight weenies so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
Oh yeah, Speedplay Zero Ti and if I'm lucky I will try to find my favorite seat on ebay - $7 Coda from Nashbar that I used to by in groups of 10 when I was a messenger. Otherwise, I'll spend some ridiculous amount on a lightweight seat just for fun. I'm shooting for June to have the build done just in time for Baldy season.
