Hey this thread is like four years old. Isn't it anoying when people pull up old threads and post in them like it was just started yesterday...
I'm off to the Road forum, I've got some Trolling to do.

OK, I'll bite, but only for the other hard core NBA fans out there that want to talk about this season.

My Wolves are hard to figure at this point. I'm watching them against the Pistons right now. One of two whole games on national tv this year. Just when you think they're getting it together, they lose to someone like Atlanta at home.

They may end up with a competitive season but the Suns and Mavs are awesome right now. :)

So we're in the closing minutes of overtime and we have offensive studs like Trenton Hassel and Mark Madsen in the game. Man, we suck. Garnett was ejected. :(

Oh, and they're paired with two rookies. Geez.

I'll just continue this conversation with myself if you don't mind. We somehow tied it up. We actually have a chance! :eek:

No other NBA fans out tonight I guess. :(

Good point. Time to tear this team up and start over. At least that's the way I felt at the end of last year. He is without a doubt and oustanding player but he needs help. And there's better "go to" guys with a game on the line.

They may be good enough to squeee into the playoffs this year but out in round 1.

I want to defend Garnett and the Wolves. It may sound stupid, but a team's name has a lot to do with its public perception and hence, success or lack thereof. Look at the Duke Blue Devils b-ball program led by Michael Krzyzewski, the Georgia Bulldogs football team, and the Wofford Terriers, a small Division III school.

Wolves have gotten much undeserved negative criticism and are being killed by aerial gunners, even.
So give the Wolves a chance!
