HI
My name is Dave. I have always wanted a road bike but because of a slipped disk in my neck I have been a little leery about laying out a huge chunk of cheese just to find out that It hurts too much.
I do ride a mt bike and love it to death. I was given a hand me down Fuji America. I did a little research and found that it is a 1984 model.
Sure it is a little old but it is in great shape and has some decent tires. I plan to pound the street with it for a while, and if it works out, I'll replace the tubes and tires and enjoy it for a while.
I am not the kind of person that competes and has to have the best of the best. From the little riding that I have done so far, I really like this bike. It is lite and handles very well. The leather seat sucks a little so maybe a new gel seat will be in order.
