I'm planning on getting a Nitto 123 bar and I wasnted to know if these levers would fit that bar. I can't seem to find the diameter size of the lever so I wanted to see if anyone here has used them.

Gotta use a crosslever or a goldfinger. The goldfinger needs a homemade shim though.
On second thought...i've had a MTB lever in 24mm before but they look way too bulky on drops.
No I don't think they will. My roommate got those in black, they didn't fit they stock bars from the Kilo TT.

Either you lied about searching or you really don't know how to use google. First result even.

Is everyone on here so arrogant and annoying as you? If I did find that then I wouldn't have started the thread now would I?

Thanks man. That's what I was looking for.
So I assume a level like this would work?

those will work, but you'll need a bulky looking shim.
try to find some tektro rl570s... i just picked up one that i know will fit a nitto flat bar for ten bucks at my lbs.

How's the quality on them? Do they feel flimsy?

certainly not if you take care of them. they're extremely light, but they're pretty sturdy. i've been riding one everyday for a year and it's still in great shape.

24mm? How does it fit a Nitto? Aren't those bars 25.4? Or is that the size at the center where the stem clamps on and the rest of the bar is thinner?

nittos have different sized clamp areas. some are 26.0, some are 25.4 at the clamp.
but they're all 24.0 on the bars.
so if you want your brake lever up by the stem you'll have to find a brake lever that fits your clamp area.

Thanks. Makes sense now.
Are there any instructions online on how to install the cables on these type of levers? The levers I'm use to pull the brake cable, these push them. Is it just a matter of hooking the cable end into the lever and adjust the tension?

i'm having a hard time finding a 26.0 cross lever for a somewhat reasonable price to put on my rb-18's on the clamp area near the stem. anyone want to find one for me so they can say i dont know how to search?

i'm pretty sure benscycle has tektros in 26.0.
i have the same problem with my rb-018s.

Wether a crosslever will fit tight against the stem on the 123s or not depends on the stem as the clamparea on those bars is not very wide(60mm).I use my nittos with a threadless felt stem and there is not enough room to put the lever on the clamparea(might work with a quill stem). On the nitto 021s the clamparea is 120mm so a 26mm Lever is needed for those.

Those are $90, screw that. Get the $25 tektros or the nashbar/performance rigs. As for clamping onto the 24mm section of a bar, you need 1mm brass or Al shim stock, available at any hardware store.
Those levers don't "push the cable," they push on the housing when used as interrupters. For normal use they work like any other lever. Some have a little rubber grommet in the hole where the cable goes, you want to pull that out if you're not using it as an interrupter.
Drainyoo, not everybody on here is a jerk, but very few of the regulars don't get at least a little annoyed when people ask questions like this that are easily resolved by searching.
