Hey everyone,

For almost 2 years, I have wanted to build a handlebar mount for my bicycle. Last night I was doing some research, when I found the perfect mount on Instructables (http://www.instructables.com/id/Bicycle-Camera-Mount-for-under-%241/)

I walked to the LHS Local Hardware store, and bought all that I needed for $1.53, a 1/4" screw, 2x 1/4" wingnuts, and some washers. I pulled the front reflector off of my bike since I had a headlight and put it all together.

I will be downstate tommorow in Peoria Illinois. I will test it there on the famous Grandview Drive. I tested it in the alley with both of my cameras A panasonic lumix TZ3 and a Panasonic MiniDV camera

I have been thinking about trying something like that as well. My only worry is that the video is going to end up super shakey.

I'm interested in hearing if the camera stabilization is enough to deal with that.

i did the same thing on my bike about a month ago, pretty cool ain't it. the video on mine isn't shakey at all. bumps and hills it all stays tight and doesn't go anywhere.

Does that camera have video in? If it does, take a look at some bullet cameras. I've been running a Samsung sc-x105l for a few years now. It's a small media card camcorder with a external camera attachment. I can mount the bullet cam on my helmet, frame, or bars and there's a cable that leads back to the main camcorder with a record button on it.
