I am seeking a 53 or 54cm road frame. Preferrably in very good shape, I have a 55 cm Lemond that is a little too big for me that I would consider trading also! I prefer steel frames but a good aluminum would be fine also.

you should check some things out first - greg was shaped kinda weird and his bikes all have top tubes that are ridiculously long for their size. or at least they did last i knew lol.
anyway, 55 in another brand might fit you, you should get some measurements done.

If you have a bike which you like, and you are looking to replace it, you should measure it by top tube length, not by "frame size".

The lemond I am referring to was sized by my local lbs a few years ago. I didnt realize it fit me like a glove until I snagged an old Bridgestone off of ebay in a size 54 frame. I feel so much more comy on it and it is a shame because of all the money I have invested in my Lemond the past couple of years in upgrades. I was planning on using the components on another frame including the carbon Look fork. So far I have not found anything on E-bay that is what I am looking for!

I have already got a new frame being delivered today as I type this reply, but if it is not what I am expecting ,then I might be interested in either one of the frames.
