Short version: I broke my chain.

Long version: I attacked from the gun. I was chased down. My shifting got a little screwy. I adjusted the barrel adjuster. The guy who won last week attacked. I followed.

I broke my F*&king chain.

good report, even if it was a little redundant.

next time replace vocabulary for the vulgarity.

im not looking forward to ever breaking my chain, especially in a race.

I have nightmares about this kind of thing.

The only time I've ever 'broken' my chain was when I installed the connecting pin wrong and the link started to separate after about 30 miles. I got lucky since I had just gone for a hard ride the day before it happened, and it happened when I was testing something out on the bike at the LBS. Talk about lucky...
