ONCE to become Liberty Seguros
ONCE-Eroski team director Manolo Saiz has announced the name of the new sponsor that will take over the team: Liberty Seguros. The company, part of multinational financial and insurance giant Liberty Mutual, will sponsor the team for the next five years, ensuring that Saiz has plenty of scope to work on improving the squad.
The team composition will be much the same as this year's ONCE squad, with riders like Isidro Nozal, Igor González de Galdeano, Koldo Gil and Allan Davis all part of it. It's not yet confirmed whether Joseba Beloki will remain with the team, although he has not yet signed for another squad.
