Topanga accident

At least one rider down on Topanga, heading toward PCH, circa 11:30 Saturday morning. Appeared to be a group ride, since there were a clutch of cyclists helping direct traffic, etc., while waiting for emergency services. Fingers crossed...

Traffic in the canyons and PCH today in Topanga / Malibu was nuts.

I rode Las Virgines, Mulholland, Piuma, Schuren, Stunt, etc. today. Granted it was early morning. Very few cars then.

I could imagine Malibu was nuts with the great weather.

Hope the cyclist that went down is ok.

One of the guys from the club I ride with. He's a racer from Major Motion.. Experienced rider who was leading a group of beginners. Some of the guys from the group I was riding with had to go back to help out. Didn't stick around long enough for details but heard that he needed to go to the hospital for moderate injuries.

awiner, it must've been extra gorgeous out on the roads in the quieter hours of the early a.m. Tuna was deserted and peaceful at midday, except for one Ferrari misfiring down the grade. :-)
