Northeast - anyone commute to lower manhattan (i.e. wall street)?

Maybe check some parking garages? Congrats and good luck!

Transportation Alternatives lists a couple of garages on their Bicycle Parking page:
http://transalt.org/resources/garages

• 80 Pine Street (West side of Water Street b/w Pine and Maiden)
• Impark, 55 Water Street (south of William Street) - $30 per month for non-tenants

I do. But I work at the American Stock Exchange on Trinity street. I lock my bike up outside (across the street) and haven't had an issue in two or three years I've been doing it. I have a perhaps, misguided belief that all the cops and security buzzing around protects it. Probably just been lucky it hasn't been taken yet.

god, this city does a terrible job with supplying bike racks. i think i found a few spots that may be sort of safe to keep my bike, but it just seems like it's a throw of dice to whether it will be there when i get out again.... i've seen quite a few bikes stripped of all parts or broken and bent.

anyway, thanks for the suggestions!
