Ride with Lance Armstrong up for auction

$10,000 is the starting bid for a mountain bike ride with Lance Armstrong. The charity auction on eBay is being organised by Wired magazine to raise funds for the Starbright Foundation, a charity that helps kids with serious illnesses. As well as the ride with Lance (scheduled for Los Angeles on Friday November 14), the auction is full of with standard Wired-type tech products, and exclusives such as a one-carat vivid yellow-orange diamond, a 2004 Jaguar XJ-R, and Uma Thurman's Dior Jacket.

All bidding is taking place online at eBay until November 5. US residents only.

I wouldn't be a sucker and fall for this one.

Take a look at the seller's rating. They have 5 negatives and only 34 positives. BUYER BEWARE!!!

It looks like he hasn't sold anything since January 25th 2003. Hmm...this looks sketchy. He also has a ****load of like vacations and stuff.. I wonder where he got ALL that stuff lol

It doesn't sound like it is a legit fund raiser if you cannot use a tax deduction before you bid on anything check it all out. Let the buyer beware
