I picked up a brand new set of dk hubs for five bucks on ebay and want to build some new wheels but really don't know too much about bmx wheels. (I don't know why they were so cheap. They seem really nice) I like building wheels, so I figured it might be worth getting spokes and rims and having a nice set of wheels for kinda' cheap and then maybe build up a bike if I fall over a nice enough frame.
Any suggestions on rims.
What kind of spokes are usual for bmx, double butted 2.0/1.5/2.p or straight 2.0?
Anything else I need to know?

Danscomp if you need to buy wheels. they should be able to tell you what kind of spokes you need.
Lots of companies are making double butted spokes now. Mutiny has probably the nicest I've seen, but others make them too, some in a wide range of colors. If your going to be riding them hard on streets or ramps, so with something like an Odyssey Hazard Lite. Strong, light and not too spendy. If its just a cruising wheelset, check out something like a Sun BFR. Not as strong, but a lot cheaper. They can also be found on ebay, sometimes as low as $20 a pair BIN.
