The only hope there is to lose is the internet connectivity in the remote areas of Corsica and Sardinia where I have been enjoying la dolce vida in the past month. The riding is Awesome. The food and wine and company to keep are Awesome. The vistas are more of the same Awesome. The internet is not.

Perhaps you all would consider foregoing this BFNIC Spring Classic ride along with its unpredictable northern U.S. springtime climate. Relocate the ride to the Mediterranean. Plenty of the Awesome to go around.

Please note, the Sheboygan WCA race at Evergreen Park is being rescheduled for April 27th. Also, the Neenah crit on May 4 is being postponed for technical difficulties; we will alert you to further announcements regarding these races as they become available.

Upon some reflection and math, it would seem that I can still do west loop, assuming the race is still at 3:35pm. But I'm probably out for the east loop.

I think recursive has it's target set to WI Cup points. So yeah, I think in that case he does have to hit every race in the series.

Thanks. Honestly (big shock) I am in no shape to race, but I started thinking "WTF - maybe it will help push me over the edge and help me get over this plataeu." Then I had a discussion with my wife.

Her: "Aren't you going to be racing the day before this ride?"
Me: "Maybe."
Her: "WTF does that mean?"
Me: "Well, I'm not really in the form I thought I would be in by now."
Her: "Who cares? You didn't expect to like win did you?"
Me: "Of course not. I guess I just don't really feel like being that slow fat f***** falling off the back and riding every lap except the first on his own."
Her: *giving me the 'are you really this stupid' look* "Are you serious? Who do you know in Wisconsin? Who cares if you're that guy?"

I didn't feel like telling her the people I "know" in Wisconsin so I looked past all of that and saw her point. I know what the outcome will be and I realize that there is no way around it. Time to stop being such a wussy and just man up to my beating.

That said if it is bad enough then I just might move back into the low group B or C for this ride....and try to crush whatever souls I can so that I can feel like an elitist again.
