We Lost It - Again....

We had our fourth miscarriage this past weekend, the results from the bloodwork drawn on Monday came back today and confirmed it.

So sadly, my offspring count remains at zero.... :(

your signature is SCARY!!! It got both my win 2000 box AND my linux box correct. And when I tested it on my Ipod Touch, it came back "You are running on a Mac and using Safari" That is just friggin scary.

Maybe so, but that's really not the point right now.

Good luck with your next attempt, but doesn't your name state you were born in 1994?

That might be your problem.

...doesn't your name state you were born in 1994?

Nope - that would be 1968 - you can do the math.

The reason I have 1994 in my screen name is because 1994 was a very eventful year for me - a lot of good things happened in my life that year - along with a few not-so-good things. Also, I've always been able to register on a site with this name and not be told that "this name is already being used", so I've stuck with it.

It'll also give Norton a FALSE positive for a worm intrusion. ;)

It reads what your computer sends out and bounces it back to you. ;) It's harmless, though. ;)

That's Norton for ya - when I had NAV 2006 with Internet Worm Protection installed on this PC, I couldn't scan documents from my network-connected all-in-one device - the Internet Worm Protection kept blocking the communications from the device to this PC. I had to put the document in the scanner glass and manually start the scan from this PC as a work-around. I haven't had that happen since I got rid of Norton and replaced it with the free version of McAfee that I get through Comcast.

However, I have NEVER received any Norton alerts from the Danasoft sig. A few people have asked me about it and where I got it, though - more people have been intrigued and fascinated by it than intimidated by it. I've been using it on a few other forum sites that I'm a member of for a while now, I had to create one of my own after seeing someone else on that particular forum use it.

I even put it in my MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/cyberlegend1994) page.... :D

**** UPDATE ****

We had an appointment with the OB this past Saturday. She had a battery of blood work done a few weeks ago, the results came back this past week.

She tested positive for an antibody that has been linked to miscarriages - I can't remember its name, something to do with lipids (fats). It is treatable, usually with (if only we knew this SOONER!) - aspirin.

On a bit more positive note, she also tested negative for the Cystic Fibrosis gene, which is a relief because I found out on Mother's Day that I might be carrying it (my mother's cousin has it) - in order for the child to develop CF, the gene has to come from both parents. Everything else looks OK.

So now, they want to look at my genetic profile to check for any "possible incompatibilities", then we'll most likely get the green light to try again in a few months.
