I am new to this forum---I love to bike, but just found this fourm. Anyway, I live on the west side of Cleveland, and I commute to the school where I teach; I also ride to rehab my knees---I am just getting over having total knee replacements in both knees.

It sounds as if you could enjoy talking to the 50+ forum folks--a lot of them have had experience with hip and knee replacements.

What bike(s) are you riding?

Welcome to BF!

I have been riding just a Raleigh C-200 for about 5 years---It does have upgrades---better brakes, better shifters, SPD pedals...nothin' special, but it works fine for me.

All that really matters is whether or not you get out there and ride, after all!

During the summers I get in at least 100-120 miles a week---I enjoy riding to school and to my part-time job; also take advantage of Cleveland's great metropark system and the ational Park down the Ohio Canal Towpath.
