'08 CAAD9 owners and others in the know: Are these frames no longer made in the U.S. as of 2008? Any tell-tale decals on your bikes? I noticed the '08s are missing the big made-in-U.S.A. decal on the seatstay...

I'm thinking of springing for a road bike, and I hear great things about the CAAD9 frame. I like the idea of a frame made here in the States, although it's not the most important factor for me.

Thanks in advance...

They started putting that decal on the inside of the stays. So if that photo was more to the left you'd see it on the inside of the opposite stay. My Super Six is done that way.

+1 to what roadwarrior said...my 08 CAAD9 has the made in USA on the inside of the seat stays, and on the top tube as well.

Thanks! Knew I'd get an answer here fast. (:

Enjoy the new ride, Spartan! I see there are a lot happy forum users on CAADs. I gotta make some time to fit in a test ride...
