Introductions - Hello from rainy Vancouver

Hi everybody. A little bit about myself. I 've been cycling since I was a kid. My first big kid bike was a cross country bike, then there was that brief affair with trials then a now I'm roadie. I love steel frames and I'm also a bit of a wheel building geek.

I'm in BC. I'm not big into vintage or classics. The thing I like about steel is it's liveliness. My ride is a Marinoni Leggero with Nitto Moustache bars and bar end shifters. I'm a bit of a contradiction. I opted to build my own wheels instead of going with a Mavic wheelset because I enjoy the art of wheel building but I also pimped out my hubs with ceramic bearings to squeeze out that extra bit of performance.

A Marinoni? So you are a lover of Canadian steel :D . Photos?

Technically it's Italian steel. (columbus) Although my dream frame would be made with filet brazed true temper S3, an american tubeset. It just so happened that the best fitting production frame I could find was canadian which is a plus. Pictures may come eventually.
