There's been things going on lately that I would normally post to Bike Forums about but have not been able to. Hillary and I got a BOB trailer, which allowed us to do a grocery run for a 9-person Thanksgiving in one trip. I successfully bicycled down a flight of stairs for the first time. (No, the BOB trailer was not attached at the time.) My biggest frustration lately has been working for a client involved in the automotive industry. When the job market starts opening up again, I'll view it personally not as an economic recovery, but as an ethical recovery, because I'll plan to find a job where I am not dependent on the automobile at all.

Thanks for your determination Joe. Have always liked the format. Just to show how obsessed we are with our cycling, today go out and grind a really rugged 40 miles of steep grades and at night have to talk cycling on our favorite forum. Good to be back. thanks joe.

Nice work Joe! It's good to be back.

You're all gonna think I'm crazy when I say this, but in a small way, I was almost glad for the downtime. My gf was in town for the long weekend, and since I couldn't get my daily BF fix, I 'had' to spend time with her instead! Needless to say, I'm sure she appreciated it. (on the flip side of the coin, spending time with her didn't mean that I missed out on my forums fun!...well, I did, but so did everyone else...oh, you know what I mean!)

Anyway, welcome back everybody!

Well.... I'm probably the last one to know that Bike Forums was back and running. Haven't been online much in the past few weeks. Been kind of sick with a sinus infection/cold. It was all I could do to get through a day at work and then home to rest up for the next day! Great look! Good to see all the posts. Good job, Joe.
