got my first bike today! it's second hand
it's a hercules compact folding bike (i'm guessing from the 80s)
i haven't ridden a bike for a long time but i'm now 22, want to keep fit, & not have to pay so much for public transport.
it's a bit scary going on the road as i haven't ever done this before. but practice will make me more confident i hope!!
one of the best things about cycling is all the other cyclists. it's like a secret club where we acknowledge each other. i've only had my bike for one day but i've been checking out everyone else's bikes & how they lock them up & differences & comparisons, etc etc.
it's fun!
