Hi,

I'm antonino (37) from Abruzzo (Italy).
In my region we have see and mountains very close together (about 40 km) so it's very easy to practice any kind of cycling activity (mtb or road). I mostly prefer xc mtb, but I also like road cycling.
MTB and Road bikes, both Specialized carbon.

ciao

Ciao Anto,

I live in Milano which is very flat. I suspect you get better weather in Abruzzo as well.

Hello Antonino, the topography of your region is like here where I live, near Seattle, Washington.

It is very nice to live in a place where one can enjoy salt water in the morning, and be skiing in the afternoon :D

Welcome to BF!

Johnny,
for sure! We have, usually, nice weather.

East Hill,
is Seattle really like that? What's the average temperature in summer and winter? What's the height of the mountains near you?

ciao

The average summer temperature is 65.6 degrees F. The average fall temperature is 54.4 degrees F, and the average winter temperature is 41.2 degrees F.

Summer days actually get to be around 73-76 degrees F., and there has never been a recorded temperature of over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It's quite moderate here.

Mount Rainier is 14,410 feet tall (4,392 M)!

Metric please. We don't understand all that imperial stuff.

Mount Rainier is in metric...

65.6 F = 18.6 C

54.4 F = 12.4 C

41.2 F = 5.1 C

73-76 F = 22.7-24.4 C

100 F = 37.7 C

Better?
